Rosalina Oil is rather like Tea Tree's gentle cousin. It's sometimes referred to as 'Lavender Tea Tree' because its sweet floral notes are calming and relaxing making it ideal for sleep and stress disorders. Rosalina is also very helpful for congestion and upper respiratory conditions. It has the same therapeutic effects as Tea Tree but with a less pungent aroma.
Rosalina oil comes from Western Australia and for its therapeutic uses draws on its medicinal heritage as part of the Melaleuca family. It is an excellent oil for upper respiratory tract congestion and infection, particularly in small children. It is also a gentle expectorant. As it is readily absorbed through the skin and nasal mucosa and is ideal to use in steam inhalation or by adding a few drops on a handkerchief or in a diffuser.
