ESSENTIAL OILS TO HELP PRE-MENSTRUAL TENSION (PMT)
PMT is a condition which affects many women. Cramps, bloating, fatigue, migraines, tender or painful breasts and mood swings are all typical symptoms. As our hormones play such an important role in this condition we recommend Rose Geranium and Lavender which redress the hormone imbalance.
Additionally, the cramps and headaches can be treated more specifically using analgesic oils such as Sweet Marjoram, Clary Sage, Eucalyptus, Ginger, Roman Chamomile, Clove, Vetivert, Peppermint and Neroli.
We also recommend a wonderfully soothing Aromatherapy Bath – create a blend using 30 drops of the essential oils from the Naturally Creative PMT collection and add this mixture to a teaspoon of milk or to a tablespoon of bath salts.
Topical application – add 6 drops from your blend to a tablespoon of carrier oil and massage over the abdomen, lower back, feet and ankles.
